Minting USDe allows you to convert your USDT or USDC into USDe, a stablecoin that can be used for earning rewards or trading. Follow this step-by-step guide to mint USDe efficiently.
Step 1: Access the Minting Page
You can access the USDe minting feature from:
- Earn Page: Under the USDe earn card, tap “Add” and select Mint USDe.
Step 2: Enter the Amount
- Select the currency you want to mint from (USDT or USDC).
- Enter the amount you want to mint.
- The “To” amount in USDe will automatically update based on the estimated exchange rate.
Note: The estimated exchange rate includes service fees and gas costs.
Step 3: Review Your Conversion
Before confirming, review the following details:
- From: Quantity of USDT/USDC and its USDT value
- To: Estimated USDe amount and its value in USDT
- Interest accrual timing: When USDe starts earning interest
Tip: The actual minted amount may slightly vary due to network fees or slippage.
Step 4: Confirm Minting
- Confirm the transaction.
- You will be notified that the minting process takes approximately 30+ minutes.
Step 5: Pending Status
- After confirmation, your minting request enters a pending state.
- You can view:
- Pending USDT/USDC amount
- Request timestamp
- Pending amounts are not yet included in your balance or interest calculation.
Step 6: Completion Notification
Once the process is complete:
- You will receive a push notification.
- Your USDe balance will be updated.
- The transaction will appear in the conversion history.
Example Notification:
- Success: “You’ve minted 5,000 USDe. Start trading with cross margin.”
- Failure: “Minting 5,000 USDe failed. Please try again.”
