Dear Flipstars,
Following SpaceX's (SPCX) Nasdaq listing, Flipster will temporarily suspend trading of the SPCXUSDT.PERP contract. Open positions will be maintained without settlement throughout the suspension period. Upon the resumption of trading, Flipster will convert the SPCXUSDT Pre-IPO contract into a standard equity perpetual futures contract.
Trading Suspension
- Suspension Time: 2026-06-12 08:30 (UTC)
- No new orders will be accepted.
- Open positions will be maintained and will not be settled.
Trading Resumption
- The resumption time will be determined after SPCX's Nasdaq trading has sufficiently stabilized and a reliable mark price can be established.
- Even after Nasdaq opens, trading may not resume immediately depending on market conditions, including the initial price-discovery period, trading halts, and liquidity.
- Pre-market, post-market, and overnight sessions will be disabled on 1st day (expected to be 6/15). Those sessions might be not available during the first few days upon market conditions and liquidity.
Important Notice (Liquidation Risk)
- Open positions will be maintained during the suspension period and remain exposed to market risk.
- Upon resumption, or when the mark price begins to reflect live market conditions, significant price movements may occur, which could result in the liquidation of your positions.
- If you wish to avoid this risk, please close your positions before the suspension time.
Automatic Adjustment Due to Corporate Actions
- In the event of a corporate action affecting the underlying asset — such as a change in the number of shares outstanding — the contract's average entry price and quantity may be automatically adjusted to preserve position value.
