Flipster Community Standards

The Flipster Social Feed feature provides users of the Trading Platform with a community to share knowledge, experience, and opinions about investing in cryptocurrencies and Digital Assets. The Social Feed feature aims to help users understand market rules, develop the ability to think independently, and discover more investment opportunities.
Flipster welcomes discussions and diverse opinions about the cryptocurrency market and we are committed to creating an atmosphere of mutual respect in the Flipster community. The Community Standards on this webpage shall apply to all users of the Trading Platform and all types of Content posted worldwide on the Trading Platform.
All capitalised terms and references used in these Community Standards that are defined and construed in the Flipster Terms of Use but are not defined or construed in these Community Standards shall have the same meaning and construction in these Community Standards.
By accessing your Account and using the Social Feed feature, you agree to be bound by these Community Standards and the Terms of Use, as may be amended from time to time in our sole and absolute discretion.

Please note that any content provided through Our Services (including Content from Social Feed, any market data or other financial information available through the Trading Platform) is made available for informational and educational purposes only, and is not intended to be a recommendation of any specific investment or investment strategy.
In addition, please note that any Content on the Trading Platform may include materials posted by third parties that are not affiliated in any way with Flipster. You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits and risks associated with the use of any Content provided through Our Services before making any decisions based on such Content. Definitions and Interpretation
- The following definitions are applicable to these Community Standards:
“Content” in these Community Standards means all posts, links, and messages in any form posted on the Social Feed feature on the Trading Platform and/or on the user’s profile and shall include all User Content as defined in the Terms of Use.
- The headings of each provision in these Community Standards are inserted for convenience only and shall not affect the construction of these Community Standards. Expressions in the singular form shall include the plural and vice versa, and all references to the masculine genders shall include the female and neuter genders and vice versa.
- The words “include” or “including” shall be deemed to be followed by “without limitation” or “but not limited to” whether or not they are followed by such phrases or words of like import, and “otherwise” shall not be construed as limited by words with which it is associated.

Right to Moderate
- To foster a safe, open and inclusive dialogue within the Flipster community, Flipster will monitor and moderate any Content posted by users on our Trading Platform. If any Content or user breaches any of the terms in these Community standards and/or the Terms of Use, Flipster reserves the right to remove any posts, Content, and users (including suspension of Accounts) from the Flipster community, for any reason determined at Flipster’s sole and absolute discretion.
- In particular, Flipster reserves the right to take specific measures to enforce these Community Standards, including:
- Restricting and prohibiting specific words that are deemed offensive, harmful or inappropriate from Content;
- Hiding offensive, harmful or inappropriate Content;
- Sending notifications or issuing warnings to users for breach of these Community Standards;
- Removing Content without notice;
- Suspending a user’s account temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity of the violation;
- Restricting a user’s account to prevent the user from using the Social Feed feature (including posting or commenting on the Trading Platform); or
- Reporting violations to a law enforcement or regulatory authority in the relevant jurisdiction if deemed necessary.
- We reserve the right to determine, in our sole and absolute discretion, whether any Content, conduct or action by any of our users constitutes a breach of our Terms of Use and Community Standards. Such determination may be made without notice and may result in the enforcement of the above actions.
- The following sections in these Community Standards provide a non-exclusive list of conduct that is prohibited and may result in Flipster exercising any of its rights in these Community Standards and the Terms of Use.
- SPAM AND DECEPTIVE PRACTICES
Content intended to deceive, mislead, send spam, or defraud other users is not allowed. Generally, the following behaviours are prohibited:
- Seeking Personal Gain
Users must comply with the laws and regulations of the cryptocurrency industry and must not post content for personal gain. Violations of this rule include, but are not limited to:
- Posting Content for the purpose of moving the price of Digital Assets;
- Repeatedly posting overly positive or overly negative comments about a Digital Asset without new and substantial information;
- Spreading false rumours about Digital Assets;
- Posting links to websites with Content that violates these Community Standards;
- Publishing Content that contains non-public information;
- Operating another person's Account; or
- Creating multiple accounts to send messages about a specific Digital Asset, duplicate messages, or otherwise violate these Community Standards.
- Misinformation
Users must not post inaccurate information or disseminate false or inaccurate information in the Flipster community to mislead or deceive other users. Violations of this rule include, but are not limited to:
- Content that is inaccurate or unverifiable;
- Content that is misleading, either as a result of fabrication or omission, or which is otherwise intended to deceive users; or
- Content that is outdated and mischaracterised as current.
- Copyright Infringement
Users must respect the IP Rights, including copyrights, trademarks, and any other legal rights, of third parties. Upon receipt of a report from a third party rights holder or an authorised representative, Flipster reserves the right to remove or restrict access to the relevant Content without notice to the user. In particular:
- Users shall not infringe any IP Rights, such as copyrights and trademarks;
- Users shall not use Flipster’s name, logo, or trademarks in a confusing manner or to hold themselves out as a representative or agent of Flipster;
- Users shall not post Content that is not original to them or infringes on any third party's IP Rights;
- Users shall not at any time use Content posted or obtained from any third party products or software (including Content generated by artificial intelligence models) that are not licensed for use; and
- Users shall not at any time post any Content in violation of a third party’s IP rights.
- Spam
Users are not allowed to post spam in the Flipster community. Examples of Content that is prohibited includes, but is not limited to:
- Content that invites users to open accounts for Digital Assets or other investments on other platforms through chat, comments, etc.
- Content in the form of text, images, QR codes, off-site links about websites, emails, blogs, social media, Messenger, crypto wallets, paid or free services, awarded contests, phishing sites, Trojan horses, virus sites, contests or invitations to any other platforms.
- Content that provides consulting services on third-party platforms.
- Content that is fraudulent in nature or which promotes, advertises, third-party products and services.
- Content, including articles, comments, private messages or group messages, that contains fundraising information, including but not limited to public service fundraising, crowdfunding, begging, solicitation, or fundraising with religious overtones.
- Content that sends unsolicited replies, mentions, or direct messages to promote paid services or products.
- Links to Content that requires registration or login to view.
- Content that is not relevant to topic discussions.
- Irrelevant tags that disrupt the user experience.
- Content that involves a large amount of repetitive, insubstantial, or meaningless information.
- SENSITIVE CONTENT
To protect each and every user and make the Flipster community a safe place, the following user behaviours are specifically prohibited.
- Nudity and Sexual Activity
Vulgar, gross or morally defunct Content is strictly prohibited. Such Content includes and is not limited to:
- Content that contains explicit sexual acts, fetishes, and nude or semi-nude images of figures;
- Content that contains sexually suggestive gestures, eroticism, or nudity;
- Content that constitutes or promotes inappropriate interaction with minors;
- Content that contains links or posts with illegal content, explicit books, explicit depictions, or nudity;
- Content that incites, encourages, or enables sexual contact or promotes or offers commercial sexual services;
- Content that sexually exploits or endangers the safety of children;
- Content that depicts, threatens to commit or advocates sexual violence, sexual assault, or sexual exploitation; or
- Content that demonstrates, promotes, or enables non-consensual sexual behaviour.
- Privacy Violations
Users are not allowed to post personally identifiable information or other such sensitive information in the Flipster community. Such Content includes and is not limited to:
- A home address or physical location;
- Government-issued identification, social security, or other national identification numbers;
- Contact information or email addresses;
- Bank account or credit card details;
- Biometric data or medical records; or
- Any attempt to collect or store personally identifiable information about other users, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, credit card information, or any other information that can be used to track, identify, contact, or impersonate another person.
- VIOLENT OR DANGEROUS CONTENT
Users shall not post Content consisting of hate speech, predatory behaviour, violent images, malicious attacks, and the promotion of harmful or dangerous behaviour. The following behaviours are examples of what shall be prohibited:
- Violence, Terrorism, and Graphic Content
Users shall not post Content involving violence, terrorism, and gore. Your conduct is considered a violation of this provision when it directly or indirectly includes but is not limited to Content under this provision:
- Content that threatens to, or requests services to, kill or cause bodily harm;
- Content that uses words or other expressions to advocate violence;
- Content that describes explosives, firearms, ammunition, or specific firearms accessories, including instructions for the manufacture of explosives, firearms, ammunition, controlled firearms accessories, or other weapons, and instructions for converting firearms to fully automatic or faux automatic fire weapons;
- Content that describes cannabis products, tobacco products (including e-cigarettes) or alcoholic beverages, drugs and other dangerous drugs, or controlled substances, including instructions for promoting cannabis;
- Content that glorifies or promotes terrorism, terrorists, and terrorist organizations; or
- Content that describes or depicts cruelty or abuse to people or animals.
- Hate Speech
Users shall not post defamatory, threatening, or hate speech. The following non-exhaustive list of behaviours are prohibited:
- Violent threats or incitement to violence;
- Harassment of any other user or third party entity;
- Denial of true incidents of violent hate or cruel remarks about victims;
- Acts of discrimination or exclusion;
- Dehumanizing statements or images;
- Use of hateful images or symbols; or
- Contentious political discourse.
- Bullying and Harassment
Content that harasses, threatens, or bullies individuals or groups is not allowed in the Flipster community. Your conduct is considered a violation of this provision when it directly or indirectly includes but is not limited to:
- Content that involves suicide and encouragement of self-harm;
- Content that is humiliating, abusive, offensive, or disrespectful to others;
- Content that harasses, intimidates, threats, defames, or seriously impairs others;
- Content that includes harassing others by repeatedly sending identical or nearly identical messages to others by posting, commenting, chatting, mentioning, etc; or
- Content that involves personal attacks or impersonation of others published through information vehicles such as profile pictures, alias, domain names, published content, hate images or symbols.
- PROFILE SETTINGS
Users can customize their profile username and include references to your social media links on the Trading Platform (“Profile Settings”). The Profile Settings are subject to these Community Standards. When creating your profile, please be aware of the following.
- Be kind and inclusive;
- Do not adopt profile usernames that are intended to impersonate, harass or bully any third party;
- Do not share personal information such as phone numbers, email addresses, etc., for any personal or commercial purposes;
- Do not provide reference or hyperlinks to any third party website that contain any malicious computer code, virus, malware or spyware of any form;
- Do not mislead people by impersonating others or implying that you are a Flipster employee or holding an official account; and
- Do not include reference links to nudity, gory, or violent Content.
- ILLEGALITY
Users shall not post any Content that may breach any applicable law, regulation or directive from any governmental or regulatory authority.
- REPORTING VIOLATIONS
You can use the “Report” feature to report suspected violations and non-compliant users in the Flipster community.
- SUBMITTING AN APPEAL
If you disagree with a decision that Flipster has made on your Content or Account, you can appeal the decision to Flipster.
- How to Appeal
To file your appeal as an individual or enterprise, please fill in a service request form.
- Appeal Processing
Flipster will cancel any corrective measures once it has been validated that your actions and speech are compliant with all laws, regulations, and relevant rules (including these Community Standards). When appealing, please include the Content of your appeal or your user ID, as well as any information or evidence that you believe would assist in reviewing the case.
