Changes to Contract Size for KIOXIAUSDT Perpetual Contract September 29, 2026

Dear Flipstars,

Following the 3-for-1 forward stock split of the underlying asset (Kioxia Holdings Corporation, TSE: 285A), Flipster will adjust the contract size of the KIOXIAUSDT Perpetual Contract.

To ensure a smooth adjustment, trading of KIOXIAUSDT.PERP will be suspended during the period below. During this period, you will not be able to open, close, or modify positions, or place or cancel orders. All open orders (including TP/SL) will be cancelled, and funding fees, mark price, and index price will not be updated.

Trading re-open: 2026-09-29 00:15 (UTC)

Adjustment Method
At the time of adjustment, the following values will be scaled by the adjustment scale factor (3):

  • Mark Price and Index Price will be divided by 3 
  • Position quantity (contract size) will be multiplied by 3 
  • Average Entry Price will be divided by 3


Unlike a settlement-based approach, Flipster will not settle (realize) your unrealized PnL. Because the average entry price is scaled by the same factor as the mark price, your unrealized PnL and margin balance are fully preserved, and your position remains open throughout.

Note: Prices are adjusted according to the tick size and quantities according to the minimum trade amount, so a minor rounding difference may occur after the adjustment. Because mark price and index price are not updated during the suspension, the opening price at re-open may deviate from the adjusted mark price; users with open positions are advised to re-assess their positions before trading resumes. This adjustment applies only to the KIOXIAUSDT Perpetual Contract. The trading resumption time is subject to change depending on market conditions.
